About us
Empowered by the nursing journey with her first child, she decided she wanted to become a lactation professional.
Discouraged by the health disparities in lactation, she began to connect with her local lactation community.
In 2018, she saw a picture of a group of Black mothers nursing their children.
She created an Instagram account inspired by a photo of a group of Black mothers nursing. She wanted to capture her milk expression journey.
She sought to commune and celebrate with others who felt empowered by their nursing journey.
When she realized such a space did not exist,
she created
MidHudson Chocolate Milk.
